Notes on cosponsorship data 1=sponsor 2=cosponsor For all raw cosponsorship files that I scraped from Thomas (8/22/2013) names must be matched to ICPSR IDs. Pay special attention to MCs with the same last name. Verify the row is correct using party, state, cd, and first names. Some MCs were removed from the cosponsorship files because they do not have a matching entry in the caucus files. MCs are removed if they are delegates or served partial terms such that the data on their behavior is limited. These are noted here. 103rd * Les Aspin removed from cosponsorship data * Ron de Lugo, removed from cosponsorship data * Mike Espy removed from cosponsorship data * Eni F. H.
